Who We Are
Founded in 1991 by nine William and Mary alumni, The Accidentals is a student-run A Cappella group that holds auditions once every fall and spring semester. We sing an eclectic mix of traditional and modern songs with vocal percussion. All of our arrangements are created by members of the group, and we release a CD every two years. We perform for audiences of all ages in a variety of different settings, from introducing elementary school students to a cappella to entertaining the Queen of England II with The Gentlemen of the College, our brother group. Ranging from 11 to 15 girls, you can recognize us by our red scarves and enthusiastic stage presence. While the Accidentals love singing, what we enjoy most is entertaining our friends and family. We hope to see you at a performance soon!
